Karyn graduated from the University of Sydney in Physiotherapy and extended her academic training with a Master of Musculoskeletal Studies at the University of Western Australia. When introduced to Pilates, Karyn was intrigued with the precision and control of the Pilates Method, and this led her to become a qualified Pilates Instructor.

In 2011, Karyn opened my own studio (formerly Pilates Tamworth) to combine all her skills, offering acute to end stage rehabilitation and beyond, on custom made Pilates Equipment. A particular focus is incorporating mindfulness in movement as part of the rehabilitation journey. Karyn is passionate about movement, helping people move better, with greater ease and confidence. She likes helping people get out there doing what they want to do as best they can.

Karyn enjoys working with clients across all age groups and treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. Karyn’s special interest in conditions associated with the aging population, led her to undertake a Doctorate of Physiotherapy investigating an exercise program to prevent falls.

Karyn seeks to promote a friendly, comfortable, peaceful space, in which her clients can work towards their goals.
